In addition to the addition of a small amount of catalyst during polymerization and the addition of stabilizers during granulation, it does not contain other substances and is an odorless material. It can be used not only for food-grade food utensils, food packaging, but also for medical materials.

Polypropylene (PP) particles are partially crystalline polymers with high strength, stiffness, hardness and heat resistance, and their melting point can reach above 165 ℃. The chemical composition and aggregation structure of polypropylene PP material also give it good electrical and insulating properties, acid and alkali resistance, resistance to organic solvents and moisture.

Polypropylene PP pellets have a low density in plastics of only 0.9g/cm³. Raw materials for the production of polypropylene resins are readily available and the manufacturing cost is not high. Is a very high cost of synthetic resin, a wide range of applications. And the application field is expanding, is a very promising synthetic materials.

Polypropylene PP granules also have some disadvantages. The chain entanglement density of polypropylene molecules is not high, and the glass transition temperature is generally between -13 ~-1 ℃. Therefore, the polypropylene PP material becomes brittle at low temperature, and the homopolymer has poor toughness. The rubber is added by mixing to increase its toughness. Polypropylene PP material is generally not wear-resistant, scratch resistance is poor. In special occasions, such as car interiors, bags, etc., it needs to be modified to improve its scratch resistance.

In addition, there are tertiary hydrocarbons in the polypropylene molecule, and the anti-aging performance, especially the anti-light aging performance, is poor, and is very sensitive to halogen. Antioxidant-free polypropylene powder degrades after short exposure to sunlight. For this reason, antioxidants and anti-halogen agents must be added to polypropylene PP particles, and ultraviolet absorbers must be added for outdoor use. If high-energy radiation sterilization is required, radiation stabilizing additives must also be added.

2. Strong tensile polypropylene fiber has high strength, large elongation, high initial modulus and excellent elasticity. Therefore, polypropylene has good abrasion resistance. In addition, the wet strength of polypropylene is basically equal to dry strength, so it is an ideal material for making fishing nets and cables.

Moisture absorption and dyeing heat retention light, good warmth retention, almost no moisture absorption, but strong wicking ability, moisture wicking effect is obvious; polypropylene moisture absorption is very small, almost no moisture absorption, moisture regain under general atmospheric conditions close to zero. But it has a wicking effect, transporting water vapor through the capillaries in the fabric, but does not perform any absorption function by itself. The dyeing property of polypropylene fiber is poor and the chromatography is incomplete, but the deficiency can be made up by the method of stock solution dyeing.
